FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Seattle, WA, October 21, 2014 – Veteran rhyme spitter, Wizdom, has teamed up with legendary Seattle Hip-Hop record label, Street Level Records, to present the visual experience for his Emerald City anthem “My City’s Filthy feat. Grynch & Fearce Vill” from his latest musical endeavor, The Next Step.

Filmed around Seattle by director Jeff Santos, co-producer of the critically acclaimed documentary film “The Otherside,” the video is a pride-laden and citywide scenic tour through the respective sections of Seattle that each emcee hails from, as well as homage to Seatown’s sports history. The video also features appearances from Geo of Blue Scholars, Macklemore and Seattle Sounder/Team USA soccer player, DeAndre Yedlin.

The song is the brainchild of renowned Rain City producer/engineer, D-Sane, who laces the hard hitting track with larger-than-life synth work as the trio of emcees deliver brash and braggadocious verses about their hometown. Grynch is most well known for his cult hit video “My Volvo,” which has received over 1.3 million YouTube views to date. Fearce Vill is a recently-gone-solo member of the Seattle Hip-Hop triad, Dyme Def, which rose to notoriety via The Source’s Unsigned Hype. The chorus borrows a snippet from Macklemore and Ryan Lewis‘s now famous Seattle anthem, “The Town,” to which Macklemore makes an appearance to co-sign the continued filthiness of Seattle!
